Our Story

Ari Lima, founder of Avalon Builders, began his journey in the construction industry back in 2004. Starting as a painter, he worked with a small team in residential homes throughout the Greater Boston area. Over time, the team expanded their scope to include commercial properties, further broadening Ari’s experience.

After leaving the painting company, Ari went on to pursue a new challenge: framing. For many years, he immersed himself in this foundational aspect of construction, gaining invaluable knowledge about the structural side of residential building.

By 2011, Ari was ready to sharpen his skills further, this time focusing on the finer details of construction through finish carpentry. Over the next four years, he contributed to high-end residential projects that demanded precision, creativity, and attention to detail. Ari says his favorite part of finish carpentry is “creating something out of nothing”—transforming a blank space, like the area around a fireplace, into a centerpiece with built- in cabinetry and elegant shelving.

In 2015, Ari transitioned into a Project Manager role. Over the following decade, he successfully led countless projects, collaborating closely with homeowners to bring their visions to life. His professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to quality earned the trust of clients, many of whom returned to work with him on second phase projects.

With years of hands-on experience in construction and a deep commitment to making homeowners feel heard and valued, Ari brings something truly special to Avalon Builders. Known for his steady leadership and attention to detail, he sees every project through with care and precision. Ari isn’t just building home, he’s building trust, and Avalon Builders is where that promise continues.
